Bereaved
Parents of the USA is a nationwide organization designed to aid
and support bereaved parents, grandparents and siblings who are struggling
to survive their grief after the loss of a child, grandchild, or sibling.
We meet on the
third Monday of each month. No membership fees or dues are charged all
bereaved family members are welcome. We are non-denominational, there
is no religious creed involved. Members are free to state their belief.
"Take what fits and leave the rest behind."
Our main focus is on helping grieving
families.
On Monday, July
20, 2009 – “Butterfly Days” attendees will be asked
to share any positive, happy occurrences that have happened lately or
feelings they’ve recently noticed that indicate ways in which
they are making progress in their journeys through grief. Each attendee
will write down five good things in their lives right now; zeroing in
on positive things in their lives that can help to rebuild productive
lives.
Bring a picture of your child to share with the group
during the sharing session.
